AN OVERDUE EULOGY: TO FRIENDSHIP!
Poems don't always rhyme Songs don't always harmonize Lovers don't always live happily ever after Stories don't always have happy endings Yours, to us, is sure not a happy ending You fought with all you got Kept a positive attitude Even when death was eating you up Taking a daily slice off your mortal flesh You built strength for your soul Baking in the love of your maker You made a public boast of your resilience Despite the pain and travails Under the knives and sciccors Life shrunk your body frail Yet the fear of death eluded you I am confident and most assured Yours was not a lost battle For whether it be good or bad We always win.......You won! You were strong Even unto death Rest on my love Oluwabukunolami
